Compulsory:
The service charge includes the administrative handling of the booking, the handover, incl. instruction, return and checking of the vehicle CHF 145.00
The service charge is charged on every rental and cannot be waived (exception: see compensation gifts)

Return (1-way rental)
Distance to destination:
• up to 1,000 km, 2 daily rates (daily rental)
• up to 2,000km, 3 daily rates
• over 2,000 km by agreement
• Premium return not possible
Terms and Conditions (T&C) / Rental terms

Booking / Payment / Deposit
By booking, the renter accepts the rental terms and agrees that the booking is binding. A booking confirmation and copy of the contract will be sent to the renter in electronic form. A down payment of 50% of the rental price must be paid within 14 days of receipt of these documents. The balance must be paid 14 days before picking up the vehicle. When picking up the vehicle, the renter must leave a deposit of CHF 500.00, or CHF 1,000.00 for the Premium vehicle group. The deposit is not part of the rental fee. It will be refunded 10 days after the vehicle is returned on time and undamaged.
Cancellation fees
90–60 days before the rental begins: CHF 200.00
59–30 days before the rental begins: 60% of the total amount
29–15 days before the rental begins: 80% of the total amount
14–0 days before the rental begins: 100% of the total amount
(We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance)
Vehicle pick-up
Friday evening (as per rental contract)
The renter must have a valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle group and be at least 21 years old. (Motorhomes up to 3,500 t cat. B, Premium vehicles cat. C1, D1, Caravans cat. B and BE)
Vehicle return
Friday morning (as per rental contract). No right to a refund exists if the vehicle is returned early. The renter must clean the inside of the rental vehicle, especially the bathroom, kitchen and the kitchen and camping equipment. Abnormally heavy soiling (e.g. the upholstery) will be charged at cost. The WC cassette and wastewater tank must be emptied. The vehicle must be returned with a full fuel tank. The cleaning of the outside of the vehicle is included in the rental price.
Insurance
The vehicle is covered by third-party, fully comprehensive and return journey insurance, incl. vehicle breakdown assistance in Europe. In the event of damage, the renter must ensure that a police report is issued! The following excess must be paid by the renter in the event of a claim: motorhome third-party CHF 1,000 / fully comprehensive CHF 1,500, caravans fully comprehensive CHF 1,000. Damage to the roof of the vehicle caused by not observing a minimum height restriction or damage as a result of negligence will be charged to the renter.
Included in the rental price
1,800 km per week, extra kilometres CHF 0.70/km (vehicle group Twin and California CHF 0.50/km, Premium CHF 0.90/km) external cleaning of the vehicle, all kitchen equipment and camping furniture, sun awning, bike rack, 220 Volt cable reel incl. converter plugs, awning carpet, water purifier, parking space for car, chemical toilet fluid (excluding California vehicle group). Repairs must be agreed with the rental company before placing the order! Costs will only be reimbursed upon presentation of the original receipts.
Not included in the rental price
Fuel, any additional kilometres, gas use (will be charged at the end of the rental period), any damage not covered by the insurance, fines and tolls must be paid by the renter.

Accidents
In the event of an accident, the rental company must be informed immediately. It is essential that a police report is issued. Record the details of the accident on a ‘European accident statement form’ (names and addresses of those involved, witnesses, sketches, photos). In the event of an accident or breakdown (flat tyre, broken window, etc.), you must contact the breakdown service immediately. Campventure has a collaboration with TCS’s breakdown service. It is responsible for coordinating and handling cases throughout Europe. The breakdown service’s hotline is available 24/7 at +41 (0)800 12 12 12. The costs will be charged in line with the ‘Insurance’ section of the T&Cs.
Vehicle unavailability prior to the rental
If the vehicle becomes unavailable (e.g. due to an accident/breakdown), we will help you to find an equivalent vehicle as a replacement. In this case, the rental company is not obliged to provide a replacement vehicle. The advance payment will be refunded in full. No further claims may be made against the rental company.
Compensation gifts
In the event of issues with the caravan or motorhome, the Terms and Conditions apply.
The following gifts can be offered as compensation
• Waiving of the service charge of CHF 145.00
• Voucher for another rental worth CHF 50.00/100.00/200.00
• Voucher for the camping shop worth CHF 50.00/100.00/200.00
• Waiving of the extra kilometre price up to a maximum of 300 km (only when extra kilometres have been caused by the issue with the vehicle)
• Reduction in the total price of max. 10% (if it is not clear who is at fault) – only by agreement with the manager
Compensation gifts cannot be cumulated. This means that each customer may only be offered a maximum of one compensation gift.
